Job Description

A qualified expert in all aspects of accounting and auditing, particularly commercial audit of federal and provincial public sector enterprises.

Job Responsibilities

• To ensure that the Board, Chief executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and other staff are kept updated on the progress of various public sector audits from time to time
• To ensure completion of annual public sector audits by the Auditor-General Office and satisfactory reports / observations are issued from the auditors
• To ensure that provision of information remains smooth and audits are timely completed
• To review various procurement files, personnel files, vouchers, etc. of the Company to ensure all relevant public sector rules and regulations are complied with
• To prepare replies with relevant annexures to the annual Audit Inspection Report
• To attend the meetings of SDACs/DACs/PACs and submit the point of view of the management in a comprehensive manner in order to settle the maximum number of audit observations
• To liaison with various government departments on company related matters such as Treasure Office, AG Office, Finance Department, Energy Department,
• To ensure timely issuance of minutes of SDAC/DAC
• To ensure necessary and timely compliance with SDAC/DAC directives
• Manage annual audits and maintain full and accurate records
• Ensuring procedures, policies, legislation and regulations are correctly followed and complied with
• Follow-up BOD decisions and the respective implementation
• Timely review of audit comments shared by the Auditor-General of Pakistan
• Continuous follow-up of previous audit observations (Section-I, MFDAC, draft paras, advance paras, printed paras, etc.)
